Mujh Se Pehli Si Mohabbat [ Singer : Rajni Pallavi ]
Poet: Faiz Ahmad Faiz Do Not Ask ... Do not ask me For that past love When I thought You alone illumined This entire world And because of you The sorrows of life Did not matter. I thought Your beauty game permanence To the colors of spring And your eyes were The only stars In the universe. I thought If I could only make you mine Destiny would, forever, be In my hands. Now I know There are afflictions Which have nothing to do with desire Raptures Which have nothing to do with love. On the dark loom of centuries Woven into Silk, damask, and goldcloth Is the oppressive enigma Of our lives. Everywhere-- In the valleys and bazaars-- Human flesh is being sold-- Throbbing between layers of dust-- Bathed in blood. The furnace of poverty and disease Disgorges body after body-- Your beauty is still A river of gems But now I know There are afflictions Which have nothing to do with desire Raptures Which have nothing to do with love. My love, do not ask me ...
चानक इजोत मे [ Singer : Rajni Pallavi ]
This song is a deviation from the traditional style of Maithili songs and has been composed with an entirely novice approach. I am dedicating this piece of art to the audience and hope that it will be appreciated. I seek your sincere advice and feedback on the same.
This song is written by Mr. Satish Chandra Jha, an emerging poet in Maithili literature. His poetry has already been part of sevreal magazines and journals. We wish that his art work will further strengthen the glorious legacy of Maithili literature.

श्री रूद्र अष्टकम -- Sri Rudra Ashtakam [ Singer : Rajni Pallavi ]
The Rudrastakam (Sanskrit: रुद्राष्टकम, Rurdāṣṭakam) is a Sanskrit composition in devotion of Lord Rudra or Shiva, composed by the Hindu Bhakti poet Sant Tulsidas (Sanskrit: तुलसीदास). Tulsidas composed in the late fifteenth century Uttar Pradesh of India and created many other literary pieces including the magnum opus Ram Charit Manas.
The devotional hymn "Rudrastakam" appears in the Uttara Kand of the celebrated Ram Charit Manas, where demon King Ravana composed the hymn to propitiate Lord Shiva.
The Astakam is in reverence to Lord Rudra, though the context pertains to the benevolent Lord Shiva, the post-Vedic transformation of the malevolent Rudra. It is arguable that the distinction between Rudra and Shiva was already lost by the time of Goswami Tulsidas.
The Rudrastakam is lucid and simple in style and plays an instrumental role in the Shaiva traditions.
The term "Astakam" is derived from the Sanskrit word aṣṭan, meaning "eight". An astakam is made up of eight stanzas.
An Astakam belong to the genre of lyric poetry, which tends to be short, extremely melodic, and contemplative. It reflects and portrays the poet's own feelings, states of mind, and perceptions about the theme or character in the Astakam.
